POWERFUL RHYMES
Okay, some things: Shirts. CafePress is expensive, it's $14.99 base per shirt. So if I sold them at $14.99 each, I wouldn't even make any money. :O So I'm thinking I'm going to get them printed by a professional T-Shirt printing company. This will make the shirts cheaper... From a potential $17 with CafePress down to $12 or so! Right now I'm shopping around for a good T-Shirt printing company. I'm also trying to decide what image I will want to put on the front of my first shirt. If you have any ideas you can E-mail them to me! FAN ART! The first is something special and different, it's a video game! It's The Super Mega Hat Game by OneHitWonder! It's a fun little game that is also cool and fun. I don't want to spoil anything right here... so try it out! Now the first comic fan art is by Darkmoogle and is called Strings. Good comic. The ending is great, and it's funny because it's him. Would it have been as funny if it was just some random guy? No. I also like how in the second from the guy walks up out of nowhere and answers a question that wasn't asked him. :D Next is Loki's fan art. I won't tell you the name because if you're still reading and I had told you the name, I would have already ruined the ending for you! If you're still reading and you haven't looked at the comic, what are you doing. This one has some good stuff in it. The first three frames alone have several things going on that I like. The bushman is funny, while not disrupting the action. I like how they talk about Funky Man as a celebrity (and he is!). The "deaf" thing, then he says "Do you hear something?" is funny, it's like a bonus punchline in the middle of the comic. Then there's three frames where you don't know what's going on, then in the last frame it tells you, and you are like "oh!". Good comic-making tactics. The next is Dream by Russianspy. This one is a bit crude, and it can be confusing, but it's still good. The pace is so jumpy that by the time you get to the next frame you aren't sure where you are. I like how in the last frame the guy from the cyclops' dream was there. Makes the dream seem even weirder, dreaming about catching a friend he already had and taking him to the beach. Also, oddly placed speech bubbles in the first and last frames make it seem like the answer is coming before the question, which is also weird, but funny! A comic called Bee by Air. This one has a lot of extra frames that give it good pacing. That next-to-last frame is especially good for the pacing, for some reason. I also like how the bee says it won't grant wishes, but then it says it is magic. :O Starlover Inc. has made a comic, and here it is. I like the 12 months later transition, because it's Christmas when he makes his Christmas wish and... hmm I don't know how to explain it, but you might know what I mean. The two-frame ending was a good choice, the way he changes from happy to sad was a good choice. Thanks Starlover Inc. (cool name)! And finally for today is Pee by SBBC. I'm not a big fan of breaking the fourth wall, but this comic makes some good use of it. I like the "Wet your... uh... line" joke. BUT THEN ON THE SIXTH FRAME I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING! In the seventh frame it looks like a bunch of floating mouths and snazzy hairstyles, but that's all I can get from it. Maybe that's what it's supposed to be!
